Summer ARTS @ PAC

@ Our 2014 Summer Art Academy
for Kids 6-12

Block 1: June 30 - July 10
Block 2: July 14 -24
Block 3: July 28 - August, 7

PAINT, DRAW, SCULPT & MORE @ the
VISUAL ARTS Program

10am - 2pm, Mon – Thurs in 2 week blocks
Grouped by age – 6-8 and 9-12

CLAY ARTS Program
pound it, pinch it, spin it on the wheel - start with a piece of clay and end up with a pinch pot,
creature or cup.
2-4pm – twice per week, in 2 week blocks *
*ages 6-8: Mon & Wed, *ages 9-12: Tues & Thurs

2 hour lecture covering a technical review of acrylics and their varied
application possibilities. The lecture demo will present information on pigments types, characteristics, heavy body, fluids, OPEN paints, gels, mediums, pastes, iridescents, and much more.

Summer OFFICE HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 10-am - 4pm; weekends during events and by appointment.

WEATHER CLOSINGS: We follow the Mahopac Public School schedule in inclement weather. If they dismiss early, our office as well as afternoon evening classes are cancelled. If they close, so do we OR check WHUD’s storm center (radio and website).
