2013 Annual Juried Fine Art Exhibit

Eligibility: PAC invites adult artists to submit TWO pieces of ORIGINAL Fine Art for consideration. Work must have been completed within the past three years and not previously exhibited with the Putnam Arts Council at any venue, nor been created in a class. Artists are responsible for any copyright infringement. New or renewing Members are cordially invited to join at time of hand delivery of work.
Specifications: 2-D work: all work submitted cannot exceed maximum measurement of 48” wide and must be ready to install, screw eyes & wire preferred. 3-D work: 36” x 36” x 72”h and must be manageable by one person. If providing a pedestal for your work it must be freshly painted black.
AWARDS: Cash awards for Best in Show, Second and Third Place selected at the discretion of the juror and announced at the opening reception Saturday October 5, 3-5pm.
Juror: Suzanne Bohrer Ashley, a working artist & licensed appraiser who co-owned A.R.T.S. Gallery and served as President of KMAA. Currently curates the HVHC Art for Health program that she initiated.
Labels: Please identify your work with a label including your name, the title, medium and price (or NFS).
Submission Forms: will be provided at time of drop off.
Fees: $25.00 per artist (not artwork) for up to two submissions. PAC Members enjoy a discounted fee of $20.00; anyone may join at drop off. PAC membership provides timely information on all our activities, classes, programs and more as well as discounts, and support for the arts for everyone.
Sales: The Putnam Arts Council will retain 35% on all sales.
Hand Delivery of Artwork: to 521 Kennicut Hill Rd., Mahopac Friday 9/27 & Saturday 9/28 noon to 4pm or by appointment.
All artwork must be received by 4pm Saturday, 9/28.
Pick – up at completion of exhibit: Wednesday, 10/30 or Friday 11/1 from 11am -3pm or by appointment.
