Annual Members’ Exhibit - March 2-21, 2014
SPECIFICATIONS: Members of the Putnam Arts Council, 16 years and older, are invited to submit ONE PIECE of their original fine art for inclusion in the 51st Annual Members Exhibit; work must have been completed within the past three years and not previously exhibited with PAC. Work must be ready to hang and we prefer it to be framed with screw eyes and wire attached. PLEASE NOTE SIZE RESTRICTIONS: Two-dimensional work: MAXIMUM WIDTH - 36”. Three-dimensional (indoor only please) 36” x 36" x 72"; weight must be manageable by the artist. Pedestals are available.
PLEASE IDENTIFY your work by placing a label on the back or bottom with your name & price.
SUBMISSION FORM: A submission form will be available at drop-off (not available online).
FEES: None – participation in this exhibit is a benefit of membership; new or renewing members are invited to join at the time of delivery of artwork, or via our website: putnamartscouncil.com
SALES: The Putnam Arts Council will retain 35%.
HAND DELIVERY OF ARTWORK: PAC @ the Belle Levine Art Center, 521 Kennicut Hill Rd., Mahopac NY, Thursday 2/20 through Saturday 2/22, noon to 4pm. All work must be received by 2/22 at 4pm.
RECEPTION: Sunday March 2, 3-5pm following the annual Members Meeting. ALL ARE WELCOME to attend meeting at 2pm. Friends and Members are invited to bring a dish or treat to share @ the reception.
SHOW RUNS: MARCH 2 - 21, 2014 Gallery Hours: Tues – Fri 11-3 or by appointment.
PICK-UP: Tuesday March 25 - Thursday March 27, noon -3pm, or by appointment.

HUDSON VALLEY HOSPITAL CENTER
"ART FOR HEALTH" GALLERY AND MAIN LOBBY EXHIBIT
FOR PUTNAM COUNCIL OF ARTS MEMBERS ONLY
Five Mini Solo Exhibits will be awarded in our Gallery spaces for the 4 month period May through September 2014. These galleries have been written up in the New York Times as part of the ART FOR HEALTH project. The hospital has created more than 12 permanent gallery spaces and has collected over 300 original art works as part of its program of BRINGING NATURE INSIDE. Our walls are filled with original fine art throughout the facility and have created a dynamic and powerful healing message for patients, staff, and visitors.
Works should focus on Landscape, Seascape, Floral and positive figurative works. All wall art media welcome. To apply, please email 4-6 jpegs for consideration to Curator, Suzanne Bohrer Ashley at email@example.com by March 15.
No fees. 25% requested donation for sales. Galleries are open 7 days a week, 8-8 to the public and works selected will be displayed in the main lobby as well as in the Art for Health Gallery.
