George Shawe Memorial Visual Art Scholarship
Since 1998 the Putnam Arts Council has administered the George Shawe Memorial Visual Art Scholarship in memory of Mr. Shawe, a former board member, visual artist, and educator. The fifteen high school seniors listed below received awards in support of their pursuit of artistic excellence as they moved forward with their scholastic or vocational efforts.
This fund requires ongoing support to continue disbursements and thanks to a recent contribution from David & Adi Green (Results Advertising), we are able to accept applications for the 2011 – 2012 school year to graduating seniors.
